Due to unique historical circumstances, a specialized expertise in the processing of porcine collagen has developed in Saxony over many decades.
medichema GmbH has been producing high-quality collagen products at its Chemnitz site for many years.
Through exceptionally gentle and optimized processes, our products preserve the natural advantages of porcine collagen. This allows us to achieve product properties in a remarkably simple manner that would otherwise require far more complex solutions.

We manufacture in Saxony under cleanroom conditions, utilizing local sources for our raw materials.
On this foundation, medichema GmbH’s quality management system is certified in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices—taking into account the transitional provisions of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) (EU) 2017/745—as well as DIN EN ISO 13485.
We manage our own warehousing and distribution with in-house personnel, ensuring an exceptionally short and reliable supply chain. Orders received in the morning are generally processed on the same business day.

for the highest medical standards
Surgery
mediCipio A is used for hemostasis and sealing in surgery. It is completely absorbable and consists of oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) and bio-porcine collagen – without the use of human blood components or synthetic materials.
Wound healing
mediCipio C is a fully absorbable wound healing product made from pure bio-porcine collagen, which supports exudate absorption thanks to its special pore structure and maintains a moist environment that promotes wound healing.
Oral surgery
mediRegis C is a fully resorbable bio-porcine collagen membrane for dentistry that supports hemostasis and bone and tissue regeneration and can also be used safely in patients with coagulation disorders.
